Skills Canada National Competition 2025
Skills Canada’s Nationals 2025 will be held on May 29 and 30, at the Regina Exhibition Association Limited (REAL) District.
Skills Canada and its Member Organizations, including Skills Canada BC, promotes skilled trade and technology careers to Canadian youth. The Skills Canada National Competition is the only national, multi-trade, and technology competition for students and apprentices in the country. Each year, more than 550 competitors from all regions of Canada come to SCNC to participate in over 40 skilled trade and technology competitions. By providing a forum where Canadians can compete at the national level, SCNC provides hands-on work experience related to skilled trade and technology careers.
Same as at the Skills Canada BC’s Provincial competition, at the Tradex, student visitors have the unique opportunity to try over 50 Try-A-Trade® and Technology activities, explore the “Career Zone”, visit exhibitors and ask questions to industry professionals in person. Every year, thousands of students visit SCNC for a chance to discover exciting and rewarding careers in skilled trades and technologies.
Regina is the capital of Saskatchewan and home to Canada’s only Medieval-style castle, Stone Hall Castle! Regina is also home to Wescana Centre Park, at 2,300 acres, it is bigger than Stanley Park and Central Park combined. Did you know that Regina receives 2,365 hours of sunshine a year? That makes it one of the sunniest cities in Canada!
The 2025 National Competition is the qualifying year for WorldSkills Shanghai, China, 2026. The WorldSkills Competition occurs every two years and is the world’s largest showcase of vocational education and skills excellence. Competitors representing 65 member countries and regions will compete in 85 skill areas. This makes for an even more exciting National event!
