FAQs

How do I know which region I am located in?

View the regional breakdown here, and visit our regionals page for more regional information.

How can I determine if someone is eligible to compete?

Provincial and National rule documents can be found here. Provincial competition eligibility is located on pages 6 & 7 of the Provincial rule document.

What if my region is not running a regional competition that I am interested in?

Reach out to your regional coordinator, using the contact information here, or email [email protected].

As an educator, how can I get my students involved in competing?

The best place to start is at the regional level, reaching out to your regional coordinator. If your region is not running a particular competition or the competition of interest is not run at the regional level, email [email protected] for next steps.

How do competitors get registered?

Students must be registered by someone at the educational level (a teacher, instructor, career coordinator, etc), this ensures that the competitor is an active student. The registration page, for all streams, can be found here and is password protected. Please email [email protected] for access, if you do not already have the password.

As a student, how do I get involved in competition?

Start by speaking with your teacher, instructor, or career coordinator about your interest in competing.

As a competitor, how should I prepare for my competition and/or know what to expect?

The competition document is the best way to familiarize yourself with the competition tasks and expectations. These documents can be found on the competitions page, by selecting the year of competition, the stream of competition, the competition documents tab and selecting your desired competition area from the list.
