More than 500 to compete at BC Skills event in Abbotsford

More than 500 competitors from across B.C. will take part in the Skills Canada B.C. provincial trades and technology competition on Wednesday, April 15, at Tradex in Abbotsford.
The event features winners of regional skills events competing in 50 different trade and technology categories for a chance to advance to the national event on May 28 and 29 in Toronto and the potential to qualify for the WorldSkills Competition held every two years. Contest areas include carpentry, plumbing, electrical, baking, welding, graphic design, hairstyling, 3D animation and robotics
