Pi Day Challenge Winners

Please join us in congratulating Evon Macins and Carys Bolan for winning the Skills Canada BC Pi Day Online Challenge. You can view their entries here.

Grade 4-8 category: Evon Macins, grade 7 from the SelfDesign learning foundation, created a pumpkin pie out of polymer clay. While filling his clay pie shell, he realized that he had not made enough filling and had to use his adaptability skill for success to add hard clay to the bottom of the shell to create less space to fill.

Grade 9-12 category: Carys Bolan, grade 12 from Agassiz Elementary and Secondary School, created an apple pie. They collaborated with their group to cut the apples and roll the dough, as well as using the adaptability skill to create a pie that the class would enjoy (apple).
