Efforts to inform and attract young Canadians to the skilled trades must be accompanied by information about what it takes to be successful. At this session, in addition to looking at ways to encourage young Canadians to consider skilled trade and/or technology careers, we will be discussing how the new Skills for Success framework contributes to Apprenticeship success.
Join us for this fun, interactive and informative session with presentations from the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training, Industry Training Authority, Futureworx, Bow Valley College and more!

WHAT IS IT?
The Skills for Success Forum (formerly Essential Skills Forum) serves as an opportunity to bring education and industry together to discuss the skills gap as it relates to the importance of educating youth on the nine Skills for Success and how they relate to the skilled trade and technology occupations. This free half-day conference enabled attendees to participate in interactive sessions that encourage open dialogue amongst many stakeholder groups.
