With assistance from teams of dedicated Regional Coordinators and Committees, Skills Canada BC will host its in-person Regional Competitions in communities around the province (January to April 2026) in the K-12 and Post-Secondary education systems.
Skills Canada BC’s Regional competitions provide opportunities for competitors and student spectators, to learn about careers in the skilled trades and technology sectors by watching live competitions and try-a-trade activities.
How to Get Involved
Determine which region you are in, based off your school district, and email the corresponding regional coordinator. They will be able to answer questions pertaining to the competitions in your area and connect you with Shoshawna Blair ([email protected]) to set up your username and password so you can start registering your students for competitions! 2026 Regional Acknowledgement of Risk and Photo Release
If your school district does not have blanket acknowledgement of risk/photo release which covers risks and allows the local host site or college to use a competitor’s photograph, Skills Canada British Columbia will be using a paper Regional Acknowledgement of Risk and Photo Release that is located here.
