Seeking BC high school students (and recent grads) to interview for a study on life after high school ($50 compensation)

The Working Group, Behavioural Insights Team (BIT), with support from the Future Skills Centre, is conducting a study on BC high school students’ decisions regarding whether to pursue postsecondary education. This project seeks to understand what information (or other factors) students use to decide whether to continue their education after high school. A key consideration of this project is students who wouldn’t likely transition to post-secondary without support, although not the sole student population included. These findings will help inform future work helping students to make education decisions.

BIT are looking to interview BC high school students (entering Grade 11 or 12) and recent grads . We expect interviews to last between 30 and 45 minutes. This is to happen at a later date. To thank you for their time, participants will receive a $50 e-gift card to Amazon.

Preliminary survey: If you would like to participate or know of students who would like to complete the preliminary survey, please complete these quick screening questions (2-3 minutes):
